Dr. Wynand Louw, the President of the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM), and Dr. Henry Rotich, the Chairman of the Intra-Africa Metrology System (AFRIMETS), recently visited CTI Shanghai base. They were warmly received by Mr. Han Yu, the General Manager of CTI Metrology, who introduced the global business layout of the CTI Group and its achievements in actively expanding overseas markets under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Dr. Louw highly commended CTI's global development and its efforts in internationalizing metrology services, pointing out the significant potential in Africa's testing and metrology sectors and the broad prospects for cooperation between the two sides. Dr. Henry praised CTI for its professionalism and efficient operations, expressing hope to learn from its experience to advance the development of localized metrology capabilities in Africa.

The delegation also toured the laboratories, where they gained a detailed understanding of CTI's practices in quality management and technological innovation. They spoke highly of the laboratory's construction standards. CTI Metrology expressed its commitment to further deepening cooperation with Africa in areas such as metrology calibration and reference materials through technical exchanges and service collaboration, jointly promoting the synergistic development of the international metrology sector.
