CTI has developed the ESG and Climate Change Management Systems and Climate Change Management Policy to systematically address global climate change challenges. This initiative aims to continuously enhance the Company's climate resilience, optimize energy structure, reduce carbon emissions, and improve resource efficiency to ensure the sustainability of business operations.
The Company has established a four-tier governance structure consisting of the Board of Directors, the Strategy and Environmental, Social & Governance Committee, the ESG & Climate Change Management Team, and the ESG & Climate Change Execution Team. The Board of Directors serves as the highest decision-making body for the Company's climate change commitments. The Strategy and Environmental, Social & Governance Committee oversees the management of climate change issues, with the ESG & Climate Change Management Team under its purview to coordinate with the Group's senior management and relevant departments, organizing, coordinating, and supervising various tasks to drive the achievement of climate change performance goals. The ESG & Climate Change Execution Team is responsible for identifying climate-related risks, closely monitoring policy developments from regulatory authorities, regularly reporting to management, and proactively addressing potential policy risks.
