The government of California updates at least one time of hazardous substances of the Proposition 65 list every year. At present, nearly 1000 chemicals have been included in.
The proposal stipulates that after chemicals are listed in the list, manufacturers and distributors must complete a warning within one year and terminate the discharge of chemicals to the source of drinking water within 20 months. In case of violation of this requirement, enterprises will face penalties such as lawsuits and high fines.
