With the development of urbanization and the expansion of industrial and agricultural production specifications, a large amount of fresh water is consumed, while the limited freshwater resources are polluted. The specific detection items are determined according to the environmental function and protection target of sewage treatment plant discharged into surface water area and the treatment process of diving treatment plant.
Industrial waste water	Type I pollutants: Total mercury, alkyl mercury, total cadmium, total chromium, hexavalent chromium, total arsenic, total lead, total nickel, benzo (a) pyrene, total beryllium, total silver, total alpha radioactivity and total beta radioactivity. Type II pollutants: PH, chroma, suspended solids, BOD5, COD, petroleum, animal and vegetable oil, volatile phenol, total cyanide, sulfide, ammonia nitrogen, fluoride, phosphate (calculated by P), formaldehyde, aniline, nitrobenzene, anionic surfactant, total copper, total zinc, total manganese, elemental phosphorus, organic phosphorus (calculated by P), pesticide fecal coliform, etc.	The specific test items shall be carried out according to the industrial wastewater discharge standard.
Surface water	Required items: Water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, permanganate index, chemical oxygen demand, BOD, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, copper, zinc, fluoride, volatile phenol, petroleum, anionic surfactant, sulfide and fecal coliform, selenium, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, mercury, chromium (hexavalent), lead, cyanide, etc. Selected test items: Total organic carbon, methyl mercury, nitrate, nitrite, etc.	The specific detection items are determined according to the actual situation of different water body functions, hydrological elements and pollutant discharge, as well as the control requirements of national and local surface water environmental quality standards.
Sediment	Sediment monitoring items: Required items: Arsenic, mercury, alkyl mercury, chromium, hexavalent chromium, lead, cadmium, copper, zinc, sulfide and organic matter. Selected test items: Organochlorine pesticides, organophosphorus pesticides, herbicides, PCBs, alkyl mercury, benzene series, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and phthalate esters. 2. Sludge monitoring project: Sludge from sewage treatment facilities or sludge monitoring projects incorporated into sewage channels and waters
Medical wastewater	Fecal coliform count, intestinal pathogenic bacteria, enterovirus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, pH, COD, BOD, suspended solids, ammonia nitrogen, animal and vegetable oil, petroleum, anionic surfactant, chroma, volatile phenol, total cyanide, total mercury, total cadmium, total chromium, hexavalent chromium, total arsenic, total lead, total silver, total alpha, total beta, total residual chlorine.	The specific test items shall be carried out according to the water pollutant discharge standard of medical institutions.
Groundwater	Routine indicators (39 items) Sensory improvement and general chemical indexes (20 items), microbiological indexes (2 items), toxicological indexes (15 items) and radioactivity indexes (2 items) Non routine indicators (54 items) Toxicological indexes (54 items)	The monitoring indicators are mainly conventional indicators, and the unconventional indicators are supplemented and selected according to the actual situation in different areas; according to the groundwater quality status and human health risk, it is divided into five categories, and the limits of different classifications are different.
Industrial circulating water	PH, suspended solids, total iron, chemical oxygen demand, turbidity, total hardness, total alkalinity, ammonia nitrogen, sulfide, oil content, total phosphorus, dissolved solids, five day biochemical oxygen demand, total bacterial count, potassium, sodium, Legionella, etc.
