Centre Testing International Group (CTI) recently announced the completion of its acquisition of 100% equity in Safety SA TopCo Proprietary Limited ("Safety SA"), a leading South African provider of testing, inspection, certification, and training (TICT) services. The acquisition of its Chinese business entity, Nuocheng Enterprise Consultants (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. ("NOSA China"), was also completed. The transaction, which closed successfully in September 2025, marks CTI's official entry into the African and Middle Eastern markets, further strengthening its global presence.

Safety SA, founded in 1952 (formerly NOSA), is an authority in food safety and HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) services in South Africa and the African region. With 6 laboratories and 15 training centers, its service network covers 9 provinces in South Africa and surrounding areas including Zambia. It has approximately 586 employees and serves over 14,000 customers.

The company, with comprehensive testing, inspection, certification, and training (TICT) solutions, is a recognized leader in food testing, occupational health and safety training, and management system certification. Its services include training for globally renowned retailers and fast food chains, including KFC, Pick and Pay, Shoprite, and Coca-Cola, as well as food processing and manufacturing, and exclusive government training accreditation, earning it a high reputation in South Africa. Its NOSA Five-Star Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System, deployed in over 40 countries worldwide, provides comprehensive occupational safety, health, and environmental training and certification services to high-risk industries such as power, mining, manufacturing, and energy, both domestically and internationally. As NOSA's operating entity in China, NOSA China has been deeply engaged in the Chinese market for over 20 years, building a rich local service experience and client base.

Following the acquisition, CTI will establish South Africa as a strategic hub, integrating SafetySA's global network resources with NOSA's local service strengths to create a comprehensive TICT service platform spanning the Chinese, African, and Middle Eastern markets. Leveraging CTI's expertise, SafetySA will continue to upgrade its industry-specific solutions and one-stop training services, encompassing food safety testing, product development, agricultural technology, and pet health. The company will also expand into diverse industries such as consumer goods, electronics and appliances, industrial services, environment, and ESG, offering clients a comprehensive and professional service system and further enhancing service quality and product capabilities. Leveraging NOSA's extensive expertise and brand strength in the safety, health, and environmental fields, CTI will lead the company's strategic upgrade from "compliance management" to "risk reduction," continuously empowering clients in Africa and globally to achieve sustainable development and long-term value growth.

In the future, CTI will steadily advance the all-round integration of technology, customers, networks and brands between the two parties, forming a high degree of synergy with CTI's existing business system.
